JTC 1 allows its SCs to be able to hold their meetings virtually by December 31, 2020, if needed and to perform basic tasks. Due to the uncertainty surrounding the growing global covid-19 pandemic, JTC 1 SCs are now allowed to hold virtual meetings until June 30, 2021, which provides a good opportunity to plan future meetings.
